So my run yesterday ended up being a tiny bit longer than I thought. I always like when ends up being longer than shorter. And I can I just say how bad I HATE the weather here!! If i had to run in humidity everyday I think I might just quit. I had ambitions of trying to do a 3 mi tempo run today because there are some flat areas but it was so muggy and hot this morning there was no way. I felt so suffocated!! My shorts/shirt were soaking wet after my run. But I do have a nice little tan going:) Even going a little earlier does not help. Right now I am so thankful for the blog and the whole different mindset I have as far as running goes because a year ago I would have really cut my run short or just went to the gym with my sis and got on the elipitical. And today I was thankful for the wind when it would come up because it would at least give me some fresh air and cool me off at times.

Avg pace 7:36

Great mileage this week and good job getting out in the heat (keep working on the tan, too). It is so funny that you are having heat wave issues and up north a ways we had a snow storm this week and are praying for it to hit 70!

Way to push through the tough change in climate. I hear ya on humidity and wish I could say the same about a tan. You blow my mind with your pace. Way to run!

Kudo's for running that many miles while on vacation with the heat and humidity.

I'll probably be saying the same thing next month when I'm in Atlanta.

Have fun with your sister.

This weather will make St. George seem like a piece of cake!
