The Wildbull was so nice and met me at 4:30 this morning so I could get a long run in before flying out to Dallas to stay with my sister. I owe him big time! THanks Bill! Felt very fatigue for the first  9 mi, granted 5 mi of it was up Snow Canyon. I struggled bad today, although looking at my pace up the canyon it wasnt really that slow for me, but it sure felt like it. Then at the top and coming down the marathon course I got a HORRIBLE pain/cramp/side stitch and i could bearly move. It took so much focus and concentration to just finish. (and I HAD to be back by a certain time, so that didnt help the situation.) IT hurt so bad at times it would literally take my breath away and I would feel like I was going to throw up. I have never ever had a side stitch/cramp hurt that bad. I have never been happier to finish a run. Glad its done but now I feel not so hot.... Ran into mike warren the last four and ran with him too, good to see him. avg pace 8:00...HOLY MOLY just looked and the time and I am going to be late for work!!!!!

Have fun in Dallas-I spent 11 years of my childhood there! Where does your sister live?

Good job on the long run. I'm sorry you got a bad side stitch, but you worked through it. It's good practice for the weird things that happen in a marathon. You aren't likely to get a side stitch as bad as that one.

Shauna

She lives in Coleyville (spell?). She just moved there a year from the east coast and is having hard time adjusting. I am excited to see her and my nephew!

Michelle,

THanks, it is good to push through. Makes you appreciate when you feel good. I had a side ache back in 2006 the whole SG marathon-but not as bad as today!

Good job getting out Marcie - they all can't be great ones! Plus you were with Bill so what do you expect. Have fun in the Lone Star State.

Very nice job!! You definitely put for the extra effort today. Have a safe trip and a great time and we get to see you next week!

Yes, I can see how Texas would be quite an adjustment from...anywhere! It's an interesting place. Great effort today, by the way!
