A couple on my own and couple with Peg and Heidi. Felt better today. no watch

*side note on sat my hubby and I went to the running store and steve helped him pick out some running shoes. So maybe I can drag him out a couple nights a week for some easy miles. He says he only plans on running quarterly!

Nice job today and nice job getting Garrett to the running store. If only he could inspire Jay!

great job Marci. sometimes it is a good idea not to wear that garmin.

It only took my wife 12 years of prodding and poking to finally get me out the door running. I am a CPA too and it was tough at first when all you do is stare at a computer all day but now it's an addiction. Keep prodding and maybe it will become more than just a quarterly event.:)

Jody

I will be shocked if Gar actually uses the shoes:)

Bill:

We still on for 5:30 at the rec center on wed morning?

Jeff:

I will keep prodding but its actually a fine line cuz I dont want him actually love it too much for selfish reasons. When we have kids I want the mornings to run and I need someone to watch the kids during the races. So he cant fall too in love with it:)

From Wildbull on Tue, Jul 08, 2008 at 12:15:46

see you at 5:30 at the rec center

Good point! Thanks for reminding me just how old I am.:( I guess I didn't start running until I had a 12 year old son who can watch the kids in the mornings and at the races....maybe that was Meg's plan all along...hmmmmm?

I can so see Garrett saying that. I'm impressed that he got the shoes. Keep us updated on his progress!!
