Had a good run with the club today, well...actually had a good first 3 miles with Mike and Steve and then I was a lone ranger from there on out. Missed the turn at one point so ended up with 15 (we drove out 16) , contemplated adding one more but I was done by then. I think my body was just spent from being sick earlier in the week and having taken some time off. felt great, Hamstring/calf felt awesome!Right quad got pretty tight, not painful just tight. Have an appt with April again on tues night, talked to her this morning and she said my body is just shifting and adjusting , so not too worried.  Course was downhill with a couple good climbs and then pretty flat. Started out pretty fast and kinda tuckered out towards the end.

1.6:43 2.6:35 3.6:28 4.6:34 5.6:52 6.6:45 7.7:24 8.7:13 then th rest was in the mid sevens to eights.

 avg 7:26

BTW-my sister-in-law Jody did the longest ever run for her today and did awesome! She is really improving! and THANK YOU to Mike's wife Colleen for driving us out and having goodies for us after!

Good job with the run, looks like you had some really fast miles at the beginning. It is nice running downhill sometimes. Sorry you missed a turn, I decided to come back through Santa Clara, instead of the loop out through Ivins and Snow Canyon Parkway.

Thats how I came back too probably. I just ran til I hit Pioneer parkway and then straight back to Mikes.

Yeah I know where you turned, I thought about turning there, but I went on down and actually went through the town of Santa Clara, stopped by the Jacob Hamblin place and stretched a little then took it pretty easy back to Mike's. I need to get another massage, been feeling pretty tight the last few days.

I am so glad the hamstring is feeling better. You did great today! I am so excited for Maob.

Great run today! Glad the leg is doing better. Way to finish up the week strong.

From Mike Warren on Sat, Feb 16, 2008 at 18:03:25

Great run! Very glad you are starting to feel better. You were flat hauling those first 6 miles! The fastest leg turnover in the west!

From Ruthie on Sat, Feb 16, 2008 at 19:35:47

True that! :)

Great job on your long run. And some nice tempo miles in there. I am glad your leg is feeling better. I wouldn't increase your miles next week to be conservative. Just see how it feels at current mileage.

It was great talking with you on the way up. Thanks for inviting me to run. You had some awesome miles. Have a great week.

Goodies? I should have run w/ you guys! Great job!

From Ruthie on Mon, Feb 18, 2008 at 14:34:41

Oh, you're totally fine - I had an alarm clock malfunction of some sort, so I woke up to my dad's at 6:30! I'm so sorry for missing you and making you wait. I feel like a total idiot. I hope your run was good, though!

From Brent on Mon, Feb 18, 2008 at 17:36:19

MarcieeeeeJ: great run, it looks like your getting right back on track. Agree with Mike, fastest leg turnover in the west.
