Last night a couple hours after my run, my hamstring really tightned up and it hurt. This is the first time that it has hurt and not just been tight and annoying (it hadbeen feeling really good for a couple weeks now). I iced and stretched. This morning i could still feel it on walking so I cancelled on Mike for our tempo, afraid I might hurt it worse (sorry Mike and hey isnt it your BIRTHDAY today???) I am going to go to the gym tonight and get on the elipitcal and maybe do a few light miles on the TM. Then I think the next couple weeks I am going to back off on the miles just a little. I am hoping it is feeling ok so I can get a good quality run in on friday or sat.
A half hour on the elipitcal, wanted to stay on longer but got bored watch the TV and I could feel it in hamstring.Did some free weights as well. ICE ICE ICE, HEAT HEAT HEATand STRETCH STRETCH STRETCH alot tonight! I hope it feels better tomorrow. I am incredibly frustrated that its feeling the way it does:( |
