Nice relaxed run with friend Peg. Lots colder today than its been for a long time (but I am not complaining because I know what others across the state are running in, you guys are awesome). Stopped at McDonalds to use the restroom. Pretty uneventful run but was just nice. Plan on going with the club tonight if I get off in time, if not will just run around my neighorhood. Then I am getting a massage tonight! yeah i cant wait.

pm 5 mi loop after work and massage, just what I needed!

You are so lucky - you are going to Dusty's or up to the spa? Great tempo run for you yesterday. You're the best!

From Jody on Thu, Jan 31, 2008 at 11:23:19

I am so jealous!!! I need to have Dusty give me one when I am down in February. Nice run today!

Missed running with you tonight. When can we get together for a run?

From MarcieJ on Thu, Jan 31, 2008 at 23:17:51

Andee and Jody

Just at her house, so nice. She does such a good job. Yes Jody you will have her give you one. What are you coming down for??

Dave-sorry to miss you, but run with the club or a massage...not a hard decision there:)

Ruth-

I know we need to get together soon! What about next weekend?

Marcie

I was just having to read the comments on your blog yesterday regarding GPS vs. wheel vs. landmark.

I've actually had a lot of success going from my couch, to the fridge, then back to my bed. I actually try to follow the same course numerous times throughout the week, sometimes numerous times throughout the day.

Actually, the landmark thing is not a bad idea. I have a run that I frequently (well, not so frequently right now) do that goes from mile posts to mile posts. It has been a good place to do tempo runs and the objects/landmarks are always in the same place. However, I do need to measure it with a wheel and I would say I've only ran in 8 times with the GPS, so I need to go a few more times to make it accurate.

Marcie,

We are coming down over Pres. day weekend because Jake has a baseball tourney. We will be down really late on Friday night because there is a ward party at our house and then we will leave right afterwards. They had asked and we said that we were unsure of our plans and the next thing I know it was being announced from the pulpit. What can ya do??

From Ruthie on Fri, Feb 01, 2008 at 11:21:15

Out of town. :( Sorry...

Dustin-

I like the idea of the couch-fridge back to bed. Think I could handle that just fine. No really landmrks are good idea. I just need to figure out what they are and where. Hey nice run yesterday, I am glad your hip is cooperating!

Jody-

Can your ward fit in your house, I know its large but a whole ward. You are way too nice!!!! I am excited to see you guys. I work pres days but we will have to hang out, is the tourney here in SG?

Ruth-Darnt!!

From Sasha Pachev on Fri, Feb 01, 2008 at 13:03:01

Either the house is big, or the activity in the ward is so low that the average size house could fit everybody who will show up :-)

From Jody on Fri, Feb 01, 2008 at 13:33:59

It is just adults, but they fit well in the kitchen, dining, family room area upstairs. They also can go downstairs in the family room as well. We move the dining room table and put up extra chairs. It works out well.
