Ran 4 on own and then met up with Peg and Heidi for our usual 6.  Felt very good today. No soreness or fatigue in my legs. I felt really yucky on sunday and monday morning and ended up sleeping in. Came home after work and did some weights and core work and pretty much crashed on the couch. I am feeling great now though. I dont know if the yucky feeling was from the race or what but just glad its gone!

Avg pace 8:18

Glad you are feeling better - I was worried when you did not post yesterday. Wish my legs had recovered as fast as yours. Great Job today!

Hey Marcie-I saw the question you asked MIchelle L. about the ice bath. What I understand about ice baths is they need to be done ASAP because it keeps the lactic acid from building up in your muscles so they aren't as effective as you wait longer. They are most effective after long or hard workouts where you are getting up above your anaerobic threshold a lot since that is what causes the lactic acid to build up. Lactate threshold is also another name for anaerobic threshold. Correct me if I'm wrong anyone but that is what my ACE Certification book said.
