So I have been MIA for a few months (still running and entering my mileage on private view). For those of you who dont know I am 16 weeks pregnant! Now that I am feeling better and actually feel like sitting at a computer to enter more than my mileage I am going to start blogging again.
Went to go meet my friend but it was raining so she slept in. I ran back to my house because I didnt feel like running loops to stay close to home in the dark and rain. Went to the gym and did 45 min on elipitical and then thought I would just walk hard on the treadmill at a steep incline to break it up. Walked for 5 min and decided I rather be running and right now I need to take advantage of every minute that I can be running comfortably:) So went home changed my clothes and headed out in light rain. Thought my legs would be tired from the elipitcal but felt great, amazing how good I am still feeling while running. I miss doing hard runs but if I can just maintain a solid base through the rest of this pregnancy I would be so happy. Ran one of my 6 mile loops. Could have kept going and really wanted to but I need to be careful with not overdoing it since I had already gone to the gym. |
