Was going to get up early before my run with my tues/thurs group (the girl who would go earlier with me on tues/thurs has mono) and just run laps around my neighborhood but was so tired I was lucky to get up at all. Yesterday was a VERY long day! So I will go tonight after work and get in a few more. Hopefully today goes smoother!

PM: didnt think I was going to make it back out, had myself talked out going but decided to head out after cub scouts. Did an easy out and back (total 6 mi), kept the pace slow so my legs wouldnt be tired for my run in the morning with mike and of course painters! A nice headwind on the way out but a nice push from behind on the way back.

Good job listening to the body this morning! Have a great day!

Marci, Beth: Short does not mean you cannot go fast. Marci, I now remember you from Hobble Creek half as you mentioned your height, wearing blue or green? I was right behind you at the start and tried to stay with you, you kicked butt. You can crank em. Great runners come in all sizes.

Christi-thanks I am glad I let it rest a little, I will go tonight but I was exhausted this morning.

Brent I was in a black top and green shorts. So it was probably me, there was also another girl right in front of me that could have been my twin. Thanks Brent for your noce comments!

Great job getting out - It must be the day, everyone seems to be having a rough day running. Hope everything else is good. Tell Gar hi!

I just looked up the results and you were right behind MacKenzie, who I refer to as MacK on my blog. She is short and blonde so I am sure you two could be twins, at least from the back. Your time sure was smoking at Hobble Creek. How sweet Saturday will be when you smash your downhill 1/2 marathon PR on a rolling-flat 1/2 marathon!

Michelle

Yah it was MacKenzie cuz I went up and talked to her after and looked up her now. She was very nice. and you are very nice for having such high hopes for me on Saturday. That definetely helps my confidence. Honestly Thank You!

Marcie, great job getting back out. I'm excited for all those that will be running Painter's! I know you'll do well. Good luck if I don't talk to you before then.
