first 9 down marathon course with nat. went slower (forgot to start garmin)

went ahead at a good pace last 6 mi. really struggled mentally. ususally it goes by so fast but today it seemed like it dragged even though i was moving steadly. Legs still very tired from previous days. nervous about half next week. Nat and I discussed starting track workouts. Excited about that!

Marcie, welcome to the blog, you have some very good PR race times. I am impressed with the 2007 Hobblecreek and St.George time.

I'm coming down for the half, how the course going to be?

I think it should be okay, I heard there is a 3 mi out and 3 back on west canyon trail which some of it is gravel and if I remember right a slight incline.Very steep downhill to start! I think it will be a fun race, good weather!
