Did a similar route but avoided the SC parkway today-did an out and back, which I usually dont like but  was suprised I really did today, we got some more ideas from it and some different routes til our trail is back to normal. We had a good pace today, again I dont have a pace or time because I would stop by garmin and then would forget to start it, but it felt great!   Its always nice when you  feel good and can run without thinking about that you are running! (or that it is cold or you want to go back to bed) I didnt have any negative thoughts today and if I didnt have to get back for work i just may have kept going. These kind of days make running worth it!

Sounds like a great run for you this morning. I would like to learn the art of making it through an entire run without any negative thoughts. Good job and have a great day!

Good job Marcie! Those kind of days are very rare for me, but they are nice when they do happen!

It's great your winter running blues have left. Good job running whether you are "feelin' it" or not!

From Jody on Wed, Dec 12, 2007 at 11:40:27

Great job! Those runs are far and few between. Enjoy the day.

You're short really?! Cool! Then you're my hero too. I always want to blame being slow on my short little legs (I'm 5'1")...

From marciej on Wed, Dec 12, 2007 at 14:17:16

Yes I am short! I like to tell everyone I a 5 ft but really Im 4"11and a half. I have to add in the "half":) The other day at club run some of the guys said I have the fastest turn over they have seen, I told them that its really not an option for me when my legs are sooo short!!!

From Logan on Wed, Dec 12, 2007 at 17:00:35

Hopefully you survive the "cold" this winter in St. George! Nice job on the running.

From amanda on Wed, Dec 12, 2007 at 19:35:20

I tell everyone that I am 5"1 but I am really 5 and a half feet tall. So I know how you feel. hahaha But you are awesome.

From Christi on Thu, Dec 13, 2007 at 12:55:07

Fine- as long as we're confessing, I'm really 5 and 1/2 inch too! LOL. But I tell everyone 5'1"! Too funny! I love having so many short gals on the blog! Ya know Lybi & Laura are shorties too..

I am so grateful for SG weather when I read all the northerners blogs. It sounds scary up there:)
