Ran with Mike today, just took it easy. Did an out and back run. On the way back Mike asked me if my legs were feeling ok, which they were. Absolutely no tightness! Whoohoo! thats 2 runs in a row that they have felt good. He then said "lets pick up to race pace for you for 2 miles to wake up your legs for Moab this weekend." Ran 2 miles 6:46, 6:44. It felt good to do some speed, although I can tell I have done none for awhile. Plan on doing another 2-3 miles tempo on wed. I am setting no goals for saturday and just going to run how I feel. |
