Ran with my friend Jamie and Ruth came along for the first 8 or so. We were supposed to do 20 but my friend only wanted to do 18 which was so okay with me since I am not training for a marathon right now. It ended up being a little short of 18. Had great conversation today, had bathroom issues again and was a little sluggish but not too bad. Jamie said Ruth's stride is so intimidating! Which is so true! Ruth is an awesome runner and it was so fun tohave her come along for a little bit.

My wife is a dental hygienist too! She went to SUU for a couple years, then spent 2 years in DSC's dental hygiene program. Is that where you went?

And since this is a running site--nice job on your run!

Yes I went to Dixie's program, when did your wife go through the program? I graduated 3 years ago. Its a great profession!

She went Aug 2005 through May 2007, so I guess she just missed you? She loves the work, but will be stopping in a couple months--we're having our first child, due in September. Which office do you work at in SG?

Yah she came in the year I graduated. Congrats on your first baby. I work for Kyle Frei and Kayle Leavitt at Southern utah dental. Where does she work?

From Little Bad Legs on Sat, Apr 05, 2008 at 13:25:50

She works in Cedar City for Alan Davies @ Cedar Valley Family Dentistry. We'll have to meet at a race sometime--Andrea thought your name sounded familiar and I'm sure she'd recognize you.

Great run today!!! You are coming back so well! Wish you were coming up soon or I was going south, it would be great to get together!

Cool, you know the "sole sisters". I don't even know if they still call themselves this, but they did at one point and I like it so I keep calling them it! I've know Buff (Elizabeth Young) the longest- just met the others end of last year- I never really see them except on Saturdays for long runs. But you know how you get to know lots of insider info on those long runs- so I feel like I've know them forever. Anyway- they are all getting geared up for Boston, so its fun to hang with them. Plus they are my idols- early 40's with older kids and still kicking butt in the running dept! You had a GREAT long run yourself today- GOOD JOB!
