Wow I am getting alot more taper this week than I thought, wont complain about that though. Was supposed to meet bull to run but he showed up a half hour early (who does that, shows up too early:) So I had some friends that were running 6 mi so I hurried down and they were just about to leave so i was able to run some easy miles and then added on 2 more. My foot was still tender, been experimenting with different bandages. I think I bought 30 dollars were of every kind of bandaid and bandage there is. Tomorrow I will try to add on more than I thought after swiss days. Dont even know what to expect on time tomorrow, I have NEVER ran a 5k!! I hope to be high 18 or low 19.  I cant believe a week from today I will be getting ready to go pick up my number at the Expo!!! Started to get butterflies yesterday!

Good luck with the Bandaid experiment. You will do great tomorrow!! I can't wait to see what you think.

Sorry to hear about the blister, not a good time to have one of those. The 5k should be fun. I think I've about talked my wife Sunny into running it. I haven't done too many 5K's lately, so I'm interested to see what kind of time I can run.

I think we should send Bull for a random drug test. Good job today.

Sorry Marci. Latley i have been such a air head. Cups of water have been spilling. Putting my shirts on back words. I must be losing my mind! good run this morning.

I call the absent-mindedness "sugar brain" (lack of sugar in the brain). I seriously have issues during training time. I just lose my thoughts so easily and after speed and long runs, Oh, oh, I'm outta here:)

Good luck tomorrow! Can't believe you've never run a 5k??!! Those poor other racers- they won't know what them when you show up- you'll do AWESOME!
