Wow my legs, I mean my whole body is sore today. Even my ribcage hurts. I got up out of bed and kinda stumbled around and wondered if I would be able to run. I went out and we did an easy 9 and it actually felt pretty good to get the legs moving. Any downhill at all I could really feel (alot). I can't believe I am this sore. I have not gotten this sore for a long long time.  I am going to try to keep my miles up this week, and get a few extra in on turkey day so I can feel a little better about having that extra piece of pie!!(and all the other goodies too:)

I have never been this sore from a half marathon, I think this tells you how though that course really was. crazy

Talked to Coach and we decided that Thursday = easy 6, Friday = 9 and Saturday = 6 w/fartleks. What days sound good to you?

Josse,

No kidding, my calves are so sore. When I sit down and get back up I about fall over:) That was a crazy course, not one I feel like repeating anytime soon. I read on your blog something about a surgery, are you having surgery or someone in your family?

Ruthie,

Lets do Friday, 9 is perfect. I probably need to be home somewhere around 8 or 9 o'clock. Is there a course you would like to do?

Well, it depends if you like trail runs... I know a pretty fun one that is half on trails half on roads and another that is a killer trail run with a mile sand hill in the middle. Other than that I only have boring out-and-back on the AZ strip runs for long runs. What are your 9-miler options? We can have tons of options!!!

Ruthie,

There is a 9 mi loop we do alot from my house thats good run. Theres one we used to do out from Kayenta (but i dont the exact mileage). Im really open to anything. Im not great on trails but I would be up for it! Let me know.

I'd say either your 9 mile loop or my half and half trail/road run. You pick. :)

Lets do your trail run! I need a change of route.
