I am going to copy Michelle and Josse and start blogging my goals for the week on sunday. I think that will help me stick to and accomplish them if I say (or write) them out loud.

1. NOT SLEEP IN Mon-Sat

2. 60 miles minimum

3. Mon and Wed get avg pace in the low 7's

4. For my own reasons I really feel I need to shed at least 5lbs so I will be working towards that with being more conscious of what goes in my mouth!

Finally I didnt hit snooze and sleep in a few extra mintutes so I was able to get a full 10 in like I had planned! Wanted to run this route a little faster today but my legs were so tired today I just couldnt get myself moving like I wanted to. Reading all the race reports from Ogden has gotten be super excited about the summer races coming up and especially SG. Thought alot about my training on todays run and what I want to accomplish.

Avg pace 7:36, 1:16

Was out late last night watching my hubby play baseball ,some guys from his softball game played against the Roadrunners (the professional baseball team in SG) and oh I badly i wanted to sleep in but I prevailed and met my running group. Since I didnt get up earlier and run beforehand to get all my miles I am planning on stopping my the gym on the my way home from work and run 3 on the TM. Felt great today, no aches or pains.

Avg pace 8:15

Oh my wind! I wish I would have stayed in bed today, between the wind and my stomach giving me issues it was not my most favorite run. It seemed every direction I turned I was still running into a headwind and it was very warm this morning too. But enough of my complaining, I am glad I got it done! No watch today

Wow what a run, wind, rain, cold and THREE pottybreaks in the first 4  miles. I was about ready to quit and shortcut it home but I talked myself out of it, thank goodness for the blog or I probabaly would have. My running has come a long way since I joined the blog, I have really learned so much more about running and training and pushing through when you want to quit. Thanks to all you other bloggers!

Since the weather is pretty cool outside I was able to sleep in a little later and then headed out. Did an out and back run, so 9 out and 9 back. Pretty boring but oh well. My left hip got some sharp pain around mile 10 and had to stop and stretch. Its has done it before but not for a couple years. Feels like its catching and it needs to pop. Went away after stretching. Had a couple pottybreaks and then saw Steve H. and stopped and chatted for a few minutes and then headed on home. Overall felt pretty decent. Avg pace 7:43
